“There are no good men out there,” was their key concern. “It only takes one!” was Laurie’s response. She was inspired to re-design a format she used years earlier.  .  .  Laurie met two of her husbands following this magical system.

While having a life overflowing with adventure, Laurie also attended life’s “school of hard knocks” for a few years. She was married four times, had a lovely overseas relationship, was a first-time mother at 43, was widowed twice and a single mom for 10 years.

Laurie married her current husband, Doug, at 60. She helps him run GRATEFUL BEARS, a heart-centered fundraising project they co-founded, providing financial support for nonprofits and foundations worldwide. More recently, she saw the need to start two women’s circles in her area, helping to forge new relationships based on trust and compassion.
